Must-Eat Food Pop-Ups & Drops in NYC 1.13-1.20

Now that the 2023 8it awards have been announced and ceremoniously handed out, we’re starting out 2024 with a clean slate. That means there’s a whole 12 months ahead of us for new and exciting pop-ups to wow us and the entire NYC eating community with their craft. Plus the start of the year has chef’s creative energy flowing into new and exciting dish drops and collabs. I’m writing this shortly after stuffing myself with a double Gotham smash burger and Gotham Burger Social Club’s newest menu item: fried pickles, on my first visit to their first brick-and-mortar after years of attending their pop-ups. If this isn’t a full-circle moment, I don’t know what is.

As always, this article is just a small taste of the pop-ups and drops you can find in the 8it app. Hit the green button at the bottom of this article to explore the 8it app.

Your Delicious moment is known for a killer burger which has graced the kitchens of Win Son and Chino Grande this past year. On Sunday, their menu features a crispy carnitas sandwich with tamarind chili glaze, a side dish boldly-named “1000-year” potato confit, jalapeño caesar salad, and a salted vanilla banana brulee sundae.
