Must-Eat Food Pop-Ups & Drops in NYC 10.21-10.28

All good things must come to an end, and they say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but in this case, absence doesn’t make the stomach fuller. Some of NYC’s top pop-ups are coming to a crescendo this week. A few of these pop-ups are starting brick-and-mortars, some are skipping town with a future return to NYC planned, others are seasonal- but for all of them, this is your last chance to eat their delicious-ass food for a minute, if not forever. Put on your eating pants, get outside and send these chefs off with a bang this weekend!

As always, this article is just a small taste of the pop-ups and drops you can find in the 8it app. Hit the green button at the bottom of this article to explore the 8it app.

One of NYC’s best burgers has found a home. Gotham Burger Social Club is set to open their first brick-and-mortar on Essex and Rivington in the Lower East Side imminently. But first, financial advisor-turned chef Mike Puma and his team are doing one last round of pop-ups this week. This Sunday, they will be at the Ainsworth in midtown, then Iggy’s Bar in the Upper East Side later in the week with an exact date yet to be announced. After all the memories made at Gotham Smash Burger pop-ups over the years, this weekend will feel like watching the Gotham team walk across the stage to receive their diplomas inside an auditorium, as we shed happy tears. Moreover, Miriam is now a national pizza sensation with appearances on Chopped, Best in Dough and an acclaimed review from the New York Times.
