Nana Wilmot Residency
Bed-Stuy // 5.16, 5.23, 5.30

For the previous two Tuesdays, and the next three, the curator of Love That I Knead Supper Club, Nana Wilmot, takes over the kitchen at Ostudio. Love That I Knead is a pop-up with a West African menu inspired by Wilmot’s Ghanaian descent, and she’s bringing that same vibe to Ostudio. A few of the dishes that have featured in her residency so far include tostones with black eyed pea hummus (pictured), tomato and stone fruit salad with jollof vinaigrette, charred okra and egusi peanut granola with basil aioli, shrimp and grits with red gravy, yam cakes with collard greens and smoked turkey jus, roasted tilapia with pounded cassava, and a plantain upside down cake. Tiny Pizza Kitchen
Clinton Hill // Mondays

📸: @tinypizzakitchen

Fresh off receiving a sparkling review in the New York Times, Tiny Pizza Kitchen is starting a pop-up series every Monday night at Lulu & Po in Clinton Hill. With a modest but mighty Ooni oven that reaches above 900 degrees according to Pete Wells of the New York Times, pizzaiolo Auggie Russo turns out classic Neapolitan-style pies, and original remixes with such vast influence, it’s like he’s playing the Worldle with toppings. Pictured above, The Molly’s Folly is topped with smokey tomato and lime preserves, roasted corn, tomatillo sauce, blistered cherry tomatoes, cotija, oaxaca, and queso blanco cheese, peppers, onions, squash, cilantro, sliced radish, oregano, marigold, and avocado crema. It’s like the best parts of a Mexican taco night landed gloriously on a pie in Naples like the Chucky Lozano of pizzas. Find all the info in the 💥 Pop-ups category on the 8it app.
